Indiana Trip to Visit Pauleys
February 2005

When they met me at the airport, we were all so excited we were laughing and hugging and Franny was jumping up and down. They gave me a rose and made me feel so special. That's the good news. Bad news is that my baggage decided to catch another flight.
We slept very little and spent most nights on the computer. One night I was having a "bad hair" day so Becky put this pompon in my hair. I looked like Pebbles. She and I were laughing so hard we were crying.
When Becky, Franny and I weren't shopping, Bill and I spent some time on the computer. I was actually able to teach him a few things about html and preparation of the tourney pages. He and I jumped a few tourneys and visited with the group in Pogo Pool.
Bill gave me this Sponge Bob shirt. It says "I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON". Well I suppose.......hmmmmmm. No comment. lol
Franny is learning to play guitar. We got her strings tuned and fingers moving in the right places. Keep practicing Franny. It doesn't come easy, but it's well worth the effort when you learn it.

Running a Tourney from Becky's laptop.  Bill was on his computer with my MSN open sending out pictures to my contacts!!

There goes my sweet and innocent reputation!!

Who's the dude carrying the purse?

There goes his manly reputation!!

6 days just blew by and it was time to leave. Becky and I had a very tearful moment at the airport while a choked up Bill took pictures.

I brought so much stuff home with me the zipper on my bag broke.

Customs wanted to know what was in the cookies that Becky made for me. Of course, I had to be a smartass and say "well, flour, sugar, butter, oh, and smarties". They had no sense of humor.  They then shoved me in a corner and brought the dog out to sniff my bag. He didn't seem too interested. I guess he doesn't like monster cookies. My biggest and only fear was that they would make me open my bag and I'd never get it all packed back in.

Thanks so much Bill, Becky and Franny for the wonderful time I had in Indiana. When cyber friends turn into real friends, it's simply a great world.

Indiana Trip to Visit Pauleys
August 2005

The middle of August, 2005 I headed out on a road trip across Canada and the northern States to visit my friends, the Pauley's, in Indiana.

Biscuits and Gravy

I think all we did was eat!!

From there I traveled down to Nashville, Tennessee and had a lovely lunch with my friend, Mark, before heading out on the road.  We met at the Grand Old Opry buiding and went for lunch in a mall nearby. I was terribly sick but enjoyed my visit nevertheless.

Then onward to visit my sister in Texas.

Bad Hair Day
I may have to shoot Becky for taking this picture.
