On my 2005 Road Trip, as I made my way through Utah, I had the pleasure of meeting my good friends Shirley, Don and their beautiful family.

This was the year Karen and I were finally heading to Tombstone.

Our intention was to make tracks to Salt Lake City and we did. We left I-15 on the north side of Salt Lake City mid-afternoon and took a side trip to Tooele to visit Shirley.

We didn't tell her we were coming - wanting to surprise her. It just about backfired on us as she wasn't home until about two minutes before we arrived. We had a quick but nice visit. checked out the new pond they just finished building, and continued on our way.
